The Idaho Old Time Fiddlers Association is a non profit corporation whose purpose is to promote and to perpetuate old-time fiddling by encouraging young and old to develop their skills. This is to be done by having regular “jam sessions”, educating the public, exchanging ideas and participating in public events.

The association is a volunteer organization whose members come from a variety of ages, experience and training. Some have years of experience, some grew up learning from their family, some took formal lessons, some learned by ear, and some started playing later in life as a hobby. Currently, the group has members from Moscow, Genesee, Potlatch, Troy, Albion, Palouse, Pullman and Colfax. Different acoustical instruments are represented by the group such as fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, stand-up bass, piano and harmonica.
