The energetic, 16 piece Hog
Heaven Big Band will play tunes from the Great American Songbook on Saturday,
March 23, 2013, from 7:30 to 9:30 at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown. Folks are
welcome to come to listen or dance. The cost at the door is $8 for a
couple, $5 for a single.
The band has been playing on
the Palouse for decades and began with the Dahmen Barn at its grand opening
October of 2006. This year Hog Heaven will play there in March, April,
September and October, 2013.
Artisans at the Dahmen Barn
is a non-profit creativity center in Uniontown in the big white barn behind the
famous iron wheel fence. The fully accessible facility is open Thursday
through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. There is no daily admission fee.
