“Bluegrass etc.,” by the band Wanigan scheduled for June 9, 2012 at the Dahmen Barn
Wanigan is one of the most popular bluegrass groups in the Valley and is welcomed back to a multitude of venues. These six guys from the Lewis Clark Valley have a great time playing their brand of music.
Playing together for 5 years, they like to describe their sound as "bluegrass, etc." due to other influences including old-time fiddle and traditional American string music, bluegrass, country and gospel.
Wanigan pleases audiences with close harmonies and fun instrumentals. In addition to traditional songs, Wanigan performs many original songs with themes tied to local history and geography.
The concert will be at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown, on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 7:30 pm. Admission is $10 at the door.
Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a non-profit creativity center in the big white barn surrounded by the famous iron wheel fence just off highway 195.
