She challenged the artists to come up with something made from them. Some have been incorporated into paintings and others have been made into 3-D objects.

Everything is for sale and as the holiday season progresses from fall to Christmas, new pieces will be added.

On Saturday, June 29 from 11 am to 4 pm, visiting artist Diana Moses Botkin is offering an oil painting class for beginners at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown.  Oil paints are a wonderful, forgiving medium. If you’ve never tried them, or are just starting out with oils, this class will help you get going. The cost is $72 with students bringing their own supplies of purchasing from the instructor. Registrations must be received by June 22.
