Gypsydawgs at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn September 29, 2012



On Saturday, September 29 at 7:30 pm, Gypsydawgs will perform jazz, Gypsyjazz and a few Irish tunes at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown. Admission is $8 at the door; 419 N. Parkway, Uniontown, Wash.

Those who will enjoy this performance include jazz fans including those who enjoy the compositions of Django Reinhardt, the gypsyjazz sound, and acoustic music in general. Music lovers will love the vocalists and the many jazz standards they sing with the group. Prepare for a real treat.

The Gypsydawgs is comprised of four local musicians and two guest singers. Joe Taylor is featured on guitar, Ron “Bear” Seiler on mandolin, David Summers plays keyboards and accordion and Kasey Dennler plays bass. Terri Summers and Terri Grzebielski are the band’s guest vocalists. The band enjoys performing a wide variety of music from around the world, but mostly focuses on gypsyjazz as personified by Django Reinhardt as well as a variety of Jazz standards.

Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a non-profit creativity center in the big white barn behind the famous iron wheel fence just off highway 195 in Uniontown. The three level facility is fully ADAcompliant and has no daily admission fee. It is open Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. Information:
