Always wanted to learn how to draw but were afraid to get started? Did you take a few drawing lessons years ago and want to get back into it? Well, “Back to Basics: Drawing Techniques” is for you!
The workshop is being held at Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown, on Saturday, March 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. True beginners and intermediate students will learn several key drawing techniques designed to build confidence while improving accuracy of forms and depth in your drawings.
You’ll learn essential concentration methods to allow you to “see the way an artist sees,” as well as some wonderful tricks to capture values and textures.
Carrie’s friendly, encouraging teaching style has proven effective for hundreds of students! The workshop is for participants age 16 and older and costs $72. Registrations must be received by Wednesday, February 29, 2012 and can be done online on the calendar page at www.artisanbarn.org or by calling 509-229-3414. The materials that students should bring may be found on the calendar listing.
